Quick answers

How do I put Cairn in StandBy?

Turn your iPhone on its side while it charges. Touch and hold the widgets, tap +, and choose Cairn.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit or Customize, then tap + and choose Cairn.

Why does every widget show the same quote?

That's on purpose. Each hour has one quote, so the app, widgets, and StandBy always match.

How do I save a quote from another app?

Select the text, tap Share, and choose Cairn. In Notes, choose Send a Copy, not a link. You can also say "Save a quote in Cairn" to Siri.

Where is Tidy up?

Tidy up needs Apple Intelligence, so it only appears on iPhones that support it, with Apple Intelligence turned on. Without it, your quotes save just as you wrote them.

I'm not getting reminders.

Open Cairn and go to Settings. If notifications are off for Cairn, Reminders shows an Open Settings button so you can turn them on. You can choose 1 to 12 reminders a day, and none arrive during your quiet hours.

Can I move my quotes to a new iPhone?

Cairn keeps everything on your iPhone. A device backup or Quick Start carries it to a new iPhone.
